I am a Gallery Artist!
=)

It has been a long time coming but today I just had my first of several gallery meetings and they accepted my work!!!

I have one more that I hope to meet with next week, then next i will be contacting galleries out of State and out of the Country.

I have been plotting doing this for some time. Thanks to everybody that had your input as to what I would show.

I will be posting more details as soon as i go on display.

It has been a goal of mine for a very long time. I just recently decided I was going to start making things happen... Are you still doing real estate? I have a picture in mind for you... We need a fallen down wreck of a house and a for sale sign for you to stand next to.

I think I can relate to your life of shows at this point. I have also been busy packaging and stocking my photo cards in shops. It is a never ending list of things I need to buy and change. The displays, the packaging, the bio.... so much to think about.

I'm actually redoing the whole booth now...I've been looking through catalogs of displays and picking out new things, and wow, it really adds up!

You're totally right--it's never-ending.

How are the cards doing?

Funny how things happen. I will really feel better when I am a successfully selling gallery artist, but I guess I am always setting a higher goal so I keep reaching. =)

I look forward to the day that I can have my own like you do. =)
But yeah it is cool that it is coming together. I have two kinds of displays.

One is smaller prints that are matted and sleeved, then larger limited addition stuff that is numbered and framed in black with white matting.

I never know what people are going to think of my work in the context of art. I understand it, but I am never sure about others. This was very good, and the gallery seemed very happy so I feel good.
